Greetings to all of my faithful readers! This blog will be the epicenter of news about my travels this summer. I will probably be updating this blog more often than sending out emails, and hopefully I'll get good at it, and it won't suck too terribly. If it does, feel free to let me know. I take constructive criticism.
So I leave for my trip on Wednesday...and I don't think that it's really hit me yet. Of course I have yet to pack, but the best packing I do is about five minutes before I have to leave. This particular trip is going to be the most challenging packing-wise; as I am not traveling too far longitudinally, but latitudinally, I will cross both hemispheres. In South Africa, the weather is much like a Florida winter, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s, sometimes getting to the 40s and 70s. In Israel, it is incredibly hot, in the 80s and 90s. Germany, I believe, is somewhere in the 70s-80s range. So really, I have to just bring my entire wardrobe.
This is me, getting ready for my trip. Ok, it's not actually getting ready, but I'm totally stoked and I'm trying to learn how to use the features on this thing. Yaaaay!
