Hello Travelers,
It has been a long time since I have I posted my whereabouts and my travels since my grand odyssey of 2007. To summarize my travels, one country says it all. THAILAND.
Last December, I left on Christmas day for Bangkok and toured Chiang Mai and Pattaya for about one month. In March, I went to Kanchanaburi and Hua Hin as well as Bangkok during my spring break from the college. In late May, I returned to Bangkok and visited the islands of Koh Chang, Phuket as well as a lot of time in the northeast of Thailand -Issan for seven weeks. I visited Korat, Tha Tom, Roi et. Khon Kaen, Surin, Nong Khai in Issan.
Needless to say, of the 18 countries I visited during my seven month trip, Thailand was a very special place owing to the people, the countryside, the food and the excitement of Thailand in general.
The reason for my posting is I am leaving in the morning for Peru. Amelia is my younger daughter and it is time that I include her on one of my travels. You may recall Kate joined me in Morocco last year. Amelia and I will visit Machu Picchu, Lima, Cuzco and Puno.
Time permitting, I will post some notes of these travels and hopefully some new pictures. In the meantime-journey well!
